How can I determine which Partner system I have?
|
There are two ways to determine the type and release of your Partner system:
1) When you use the Feature #1 option,
you will hear various beeps from the handset which correspond with the
beeps indicated on the chart below. You must be on an active call
on an outside line. You can accomplish this several ways: 2) Feature 59 can only be used on Partner ACS or Endeavor systems. Just use any display phone on the system and press [ Feature ] [ 5 ] [ 9 ]. The display will show the type of system and release as indicated in the table below. Considerations:

How do I change the Time on my Partner Mail VS system?
When you change the time on the Partner system, the time will also change on the Partner Mail VS system. In some cases, you may need to conduct a System Reset - Programming Saved (#728) for the time to be corrected in the Partner Mail VS system.
---Considerations
When programming the System Time on the Partner system, enter the time in 24-hour notation. In this scheme, the hours of the day are 0000 (12 midnight) to 2359 (11:59 p.m.). Since each time must have four digits, use leading zeros when necessary. For example, to set the time to 9:00 a.m., enter [ 0 ] [ 9 ] [ 0 ] [ 0 ]. For 4:45 p.m., enter [ 1 ] [ 6 ] [ 4 ] [ 5 ].
The time appears on system display phones as a.m. or p.m. (not in 24-hour notation).
---Programming
To change the System Time:
Must be programmed from a display phone on extension 10 or 11.
NOTE: [System Program] = The left Intercom button
- Press [ Feature ] [ 0 ] [ 0 ] [ System Program ] [ System Program ]
- Dial [ # ] [ 1 ] [ 0 ] [ 3 ].
- Enter a new time in 24-hour notation.
For example, to set the time to 2:15p.m., press [ 1 ] [ 4 ] [ 1 ] [ 5 ].
A display similar to the following appears:

Data 1415
This time appears on system display phones as 2:15p. - Select another procedure or exit programming mode by pressing [ Feature ] [ 0 ] [ 0 ].
How do I retrieve my messages when I'm away from the office?
If your call is answered by Partner Mail Auto Attendant, press [*][7]. If call is answered by a fellow employee have that person press transfer then dial [7][7][7] and hang up. If the call is answered by DXD, Direct Extension Dial, press [7][7][7] and then log in as if you were on the premises.
How do I change/record the automated attendant main greeting?
To record the Automated Attendant Main Greeting Menu Prompt
- Call the Voice Mail System by pressing intercom (7) (7) (7) or the pre programmed voice mail access button.
- Press (0) (#)
- Enter System Administrators Password. For example press (1) (2) (3) (4) (#)
- Press (3) to administer the Automated Attendant Greeting.
- Press (1) to record the Automated Attendant Greeting.
The system prompts you to press (1) when finished recording.
- At the tone begin recording the Greeting
- Press (1) when finished recording.
- Do one of the following
- To approve the Automated Attendant Greeting that was just recorded press (1)
- To re record the Automated Attendant Greeting press (2). Repeat step 5.
- To play back the Greeting press (3).
- After recording the Greeting and approved either hang up or press (*) (*) (9) to exit programming.
